About
MACC creates the space, infrastructure, and connection that makes dynamic collaboration possible so our network can solve the complex problems we face and change systems together. Our vision, mission, and commitment to IDEA form the foundation of everything we do.
Our Vision
Everyone has the right to well-being. We envision a future where individuals and families live in strong, healthy, vibrant, and equitable communities. We believe human services nonprofits play a vital role in building and fighting for that future.
Our Mission
MACC makes collaboration real. We leverage the collective wisdom and power of our network of human services nonprofits to develop new structures and solutions in order to solve complex problems and build a more equitable society.
Our Commitment to IDEA:
IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) is MACC’s commitment to centering the voices and experiences of those most impacted by oppression, resisting white supremacy culture in how we operate, and building a future that is just, equitable, and inclusive for the communities our members serve, and within our own walls.
Our Story
When a group of St. Paul social service agencies began gathering in the 90s, their mission was simple: share information. What emerged over the next three decades was powerful: a collaborative network of human services nonprofits building collective wisdom, sharing resources, and leveraging their unique vantage point at the intersection of multiple movements to work together to build a more equitable society. We believe human services nonprofits are not charities, they provide foundational services that build the community, wealth, and wellbeing we all deserve.
Our Leadership
Meet the team leading behind the scenes! MACC’s team is deeply committed to the organizations and communities we serve. From the HR consultants sitting in on your team meetings, to the data specialists helping you tell your story, to the conveners bringing our network together to learn and connect — our staff show up as true partners. Together we are the shared staff, the advocates, and the relationship-builders at the heart of this collaborative network.
