Our Work

The challenges facing our network are too big for any one organization to take on alone — and the moment demands that we act together. Through advocacy, peer learning, workforce strategy, and real-time policy resources, we work together to build a stronger, more equitable human services sector. Our members don’t just receive support — they help shape the movement. MACC’s work goes beyond shared services. We bring our network together to learn, advocate, and build the collective power needed to change the conditions limiting our sector’s impact.

Work Areas

From advocacy and systems change to workforce strategy and real-time policy resources, our work is driven by one belief: that together we can change the conditions limiting our sector’s impact.

Advocacy and Systems Change

MACC advocates for a sector that is valued as the essential community infrastructure it is, funded fully and flexibly for the real cost of the work, and trusted to build data practices that center community consent and needs.

Pay Justice

We fight for funding that covers the full cost of effective human services, is transparent and accountable without redundant and outdated restrictions, and supports wages that reflect the value of the people doing the work.

Data Justice

We advocate for data practices that center community consent, reduce barriers to providing AND accessing services, and ensure data works for the people who share it and collect it.
