Survivor Resources

About

Survivor Resources provides immediate and long-term grief support for family and friends affected by suicide, homicide, overdose, or accidental death. We are a non-profit organization housed in the Minneapolis and St. Paul Police Departments. This partnership helps our team quickly get information about each case from police and the medical examiner. Immediately after a violent death, a staff member is able to reach out and help with supporting the family. Staff members are available to offer crisis intervention and victim advocacy. Weekly support groups help provide ongoing and long-term grief work. These sessions are led by experienced volunteer facilitators who have gone through the same type of loss of a loved one.
