Director of Programs and Member Engagement

In her role as MACC’s Director of Programs and Member Engagement Laurel is the essential connective fabric for our network bringing our network together to learn, collaborate, and do meaningful work together. Laurel designs our convening strategy, hosts our MACC Conversations podcast, and continually develops member programming to help our network grow, adapt, and thrive. She also leads our Social Enterprise Network, helping members strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and grow their enterprises!

Laurel has spent her entire career in the nonprofit world. Prior to working with MACC, she had a thirty-year career as The Arc Minnesota’s business director. Her role included building their $8 million dollar social enterprise Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores and 5 locations, 250 employees, volunteers, community partners, vendors, and 100,000 square feet of commercial real estate. Additionally, she consulted with nonprofits including Habitat for Humanity and TechDump, helping them launch their social enterprises.
